The Washington Monument, standing tall.
The image below was a birds eye view of the historic monuments of Washington D.C. I got see a couple of years back as I was landing into Reagan National airport. Its impressive in how these monuments stand out in presence and grandeur looking at it, from the air and the ground. In the picture are the Washington Monument, the Jefferson memorial and the wide view of DC with the United States Capitol building in the horizon.
